Calling all covens, lovers of all things witchy, bitchy and little bit wicked! I had such a fun time working on the Bitchcraft Calendar -The Art of Being A Wicked Woman by Workman Publishing. Pairing my illustrations with my kinda mantras like ‘My Crystal Ball tells me that you’re full of shit’. Makes the perfect gift for any wannabe witch or cynic.
I was recently asked to be a part of a group show, NSFW at Spoke Art in San Francisco. The show featured over 40 female and femme identifying artists who explored the topic of female sexuality. The varied works included painting, embroidery, neon and prints. Some of the artists involved were Miss van, Laura Berger, Jessica Hess, Petite Luxures, Jessica So Ren Tang, Winnie Truong, Robin Eisenberg, Meryl Pataky, Sabrina Elliot and more. Dasha Matsuura curated the show and you can read her interview about the show in Juxtapoz magazine here. Plus another interview here.
It was such a fun show and so great to be a part of an all femme group. I had the pleasure of going to San Francisco for opening night and meeting some of the artists and the lovely Dasha. Head to www.spoke-art.com to see the full list of artwork available for sale or email SF@spoke-art.com. The show finishes on Aug 26th at Spoke Art Gallery -816 Sutter St, San Francisco. I have one original left #todolist (acrylic painted on plywood, box framed with Australian hardwood) plus a limited edition giclee print #balance. (See below) Run of 50 only so be quick to snaffle one.

Wishing you all a very happy holiday season from Neryl down under! Thanks to everyone for supporting small business this year. It means so much to receive your orders and post prints out to all corners of the world. May your holiday season be fun filled and I hope Santa brings you what you wished for.
Aloha! A new print is in the store and somehow I forgot to post it here! Following on from China Girl, this is Leilani, featuring all things Hawaiian. The name was inspired by the Hoodoo Gurus song of the same name, taken from their classic 80’s debut album, Stoneage Romeos. It’s still a fave of mine. Leilani is a Hawaiian name that means heavenly flower.
My great grandfather lived in Hawaii for sometime and came back to Australia to design and build his home inspired by his travels, complete with palm trees. It was a very unusual design for 1905. He named it Hale Mauka (house on the hill) and it still stands today.
She is available in A3 size up to A0 poster size. Shown below holding the A2 size. Head to the shop for more details.
A fun new design to get you started in the morning (if hula hooping and dancing with maracas are your thang). Available to license. Please send all enquiries to email@example.com.
Happy Valentines lovers!
I recently had the pleasure of designing a poster for Built To Spill's latest Australian tour by Feel Presents. Built to Spill are an American indie rock band that formed in the 90's and are touring their latest album, 'Untethered Moon'. I wanted to go with a comic book cover space theme. I always love to be able to combine my love of illustration and hand drawn type, and even better a space girl. Inspired by the lovely Jean Shrimpton.
Here's something warm and fuzzy to say thanks for all support this year. Whether you commissioned me for work or bought something from the online shop. We loves ya! Merry Christmas and happy holidays! Hope 2016 is a goodun!

Last Friday night was Vogue's Fashion Night Out in Melbourne and I was asked back to sketch outfits live at Myer. Each outfit is quickly sketched on a body template and the customer gets to keep the drawing as a memento of their outfit of the day. It's always fun to meet and draw such different stylish ladies, see the current trends and draw like a crazy lady! Some people waited in a queue for over an hour so I hope I got to draw you! I went as quick as my fingers would go.
Here are some of my fave sketches of the night. Lots of leather, long coats, capes and black. Well it was Melbourne! Thanks to Jacky Winter, Myer and Vogue Australia for having me.
You can check my instagram page for a little flipagram of the day @nerylwalker
