TIGER SNAKES AND SIX PACKS

StocksyGeneral Assembly and Frankie Magazine have teamed up with a group of local illustrators, designers and artists for an amazing night of art illustration, photography and mixed media. 'Tiger Snakes and Six Packs' - a celebration and exploration of all things Aussie. Opens this Thursday night in Melbourne and yes free beer will be involved!

The artworks have been created using a gallery from Stocksy - a photographic stock library, and will be sold via silent auction on the night. Part proceeds going to the charity The Song Room - encouraging people through creativity.

Born Sandy Devotional

My piece 'Born Sandy Devotional' named after a Triffid song and album of the same name. For those non Australians the Triffids were an alternative 80's rock and pop band hailing from Western Australia, where I was grew up. I've always loved this album title.

Artists include:
Inaluxe, Carla Hackett, Ellen Porteus, Alice Oehr, Neryl Walker, Megan Palmer, Luke Taaffe, Matt Dampney, Keil Tillman, Dave Homer, Kyme Farley, Electric Confetti, Lauren Nicholson, Joel Pringle

Opening at 6pm, followed by a panel discussion with: Kylie Lewis - Of Kin, Tess McCabe, Matthew Henry - Oak and Ink, Brianna Wettlaufer - Stocksy United and Nuno Silva - Stocksy United.

Thursday 2nd June

THE JUNGLE ROOM

There's a new print in the house! The Jungle Room. I've had this girl lurking around but she's finally ready for you in the shop. She prints up big, up to A0 poster size.

Jungle Room

The Jungle Room was my favourite room at Graceland. It was so ridiculously over the top, so I thought she should hang here. More is more, no? Do you think Elvis would approve?
